Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, 1,345 ,m and transfer to respective Hotels
Day 02: Kathmandu with sightseeing tour, trek briefing, and preparations.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara 820 m - 06 hrs journey (via flights 30 mins on air).
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul 1070m and beyond, and trek to Ulleri village - 1960 - 06 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2,860 m - 04 hrs.
Day 06: Morning hike to Pun Hill 3,210 m and trek to Tadapani 2630 m - 06 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Chomrong 2,170 m - 05 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Dovan 2,600 m - 06 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to MBC 3,700 m (Machhapuchare Base Camp) - 05 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to ABC 4,130 m (Annapurna Base Camp) - 03 hrs.
Day 11: Trek from ABC to Bamboo 2,310 m - 06 hrs
Day 12 Trek to Jhinu village 1,780m with Hot Spring - 06 hrs.
Day 13: Trek to Tolka 1700 m via Landruk villages 1565 m - 06 hrs.
Day 14: Trek to Dhampus 1650 m (04 hrs) then drive back to Pokhara 820 m - 01 hr.
Day 15: Drive or fly to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotel.
Day 16: International departure for homeward bound or to respective countries.
On arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be received by our guides and staff and then transferred to your hotel in the hub of Kathmandu city.
After getting refreshed, join in with other members of Annapurna Base Camp & Pun Hill Trekking, where our guide will brief you regarding trekking, do’s and don’ts, Nepalese culture, lodge on route trek with full information to make your stay with us enjoyable and memorable, evening welcome dinner at a typical Nepalese restaurant with folk-cultural program as entertainment during dinner.
Morning by 9 a.m. after breakfast for sightseeing tour within heart of Kathmandu around old Durbar (royal palace and courtyard) square, of historical importance includes Temple of Kumari (Living young virgin Goddess) Kastamandap Temple where Kathmandu name derived from, a temple built with the wood of a single tree, tour of old palace during the reign of Malla and late Shah kings.
Tour leads to famous landmark of Nepal at Swayambhunath Stupa of more than 2,500 years old a Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa with all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
Afternoon visit the holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, adorned with silver doors and golden-tiered roofed pagoda a popular and famous temple where thousands of pilgrims visit every year in the month of February on Shiva Rartri (Lord Shiva's birth anniversary). From Pashupatinath, a short drive to Bouddhanath with Asia’s largest domed Stupa with four cardinal eyes of Buddha surrounded with prayer wheels and a small market with interesting stores, shops and restaurants, the place is also known as Little Tibet due to the stronghold of Tibetan influenced tribe and people.
After an interesting and exciting tour of world heritage sites, return to the hotel for preparation for the Annapurna Base Camp and Pun Hill Trekking, as well as a last-minute briefing from our guides and staff.
Morning, starting our adventure to Annapurna Base Camp & Pun Hill trekking, taking a comfortable coach or in a Big Tourist Bus, heading towards Nepal Mid West at scenic Pokhara, a beautiful spot in the entire Himalaya range of warm sub-tropical temperatures with close views of Annapurna Himalaya with Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’.
On reaching Pokhara, transfer to respective hotels by the Phewa Lake with views of mountains, and afternoon at leisure for short walks around the lakeside.
Morningdepart from the hotelfor short drive where scenic journey takes you to beyond Pokhara, with views of Manaslu and Annapurna Himalaya.
On reaching Nayapul following Modi River and into Bhirethati village heading further past farm villages and terraced fields, and then begin our trek towards Ulleri village past Tirkehdhunga with beautiful waterfalls views.
From Tirkhedhunga on high hill walks going through stone steps all the way to reach on top Ulleri village, a nice place with typical Nepalese style country houses with views of Annapurna and Machhapuchare Himal.
With pleasant overnight stop at Ulleri, walk today leads into lovely forested areas past Bhanthati village, on gradual winding trail with few ups as trek progress heading into deep woodland of tall rhododendron and magnolia with pine tree lines.
After a great morning of few hours reaching to our destination at Ghorepani for lunch and overnight stop in the comfort of nice cozy lodge.
Ghorepani located on a high hill covered within thick rhododendron forest in spring time the whole areas will be paradise when wild flowers in full bloom.
Early morning, before breakfast climb for an hour to Pun Hill and catch stunning sunrise views over Dhaulagiri-Nilgiri’s- Annapurna range of peaks with majestic Machhapuchare extends towards Mt. Manaslu and Lamjung Himal in the east.
After a glorious moment with fabulous views head down to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek uphill with views of mountains into dense woodland, after a climb heading downhill to another Bhanthati village.
With a break here with possible lunch stop afternoon walk leads down and then with an climb to reach at scenic spot at Tadapani village for overnight stop with grand views of Annapurna Himalaya.
Morning walk from Tadapani leads to a long descent into the thick forest of pines-oaks and rhododendron trees to reach near a valley of Kimrong River after walking past Gurjong village.
From here a climb for an hour to reach a ridge above Jhinu and Chomrong village, where a short downhill brings you at Chomrong village for overnight stop, this is the last permanent Gurung village and the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp trekking.
From Chomrong morning walk leads to a short downhill over terraced farm fields to reach at Chomrong river, after crossing the bridge an uphill for an hour to Sinuwa-Danda a small spot with few lodges offering great views of the surrounding landscapes and rolling green hills, from this place walking through cool dense forest till a place called Bamboo is reached, located by the Modi River in the middle of bamboo, rhododendron and oaks forest. From here an hour walk on the gradual up trail to Dovan for overnight stop, situated in the middle of forest Modi River gorge.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Dovan from here onward vegetation and tree lines drops for high altitude alpine bushes and shrubs, our route climbs following raging Modi river upstream right up to its source at base camp, walk gets better in some sections and then with last steep climb to reaching at Machhapuchare Base Camp for overnight stay. This place with few good lodges located beneath North Face of Mt. Machhapuchare.
Here onward into Annapurna Sanctuary, afternoon relax or short excursion around this tranquil wilderness with views of Annapurna South-Huinchuli, Singu Chuli / Fluted peak as well Annapurna I with Vara Shikar (Annapurna Fang) towards North West.
With wonderful morning views of Annapurna mountain range, today a short walk up to base camp, our morning trek leads on a grassy hill slopes to reach higher level ground as the walk advance towards Annapurna Base Camp, with stunning views of Annapurna peaks that encircles the sanctuary facing toward giant wall of Mt. Annapurna I.
After a good scenic walk reaching at Annapurna Base Camp a magnificent spot with few large lodges, offering tremendous and awesome scenery of snowcapped peaks that encircles lovely spot at base camp, afternoon at leisure to enjoy the mountain views.
Annapurna area was first explored by the British Adventure Col. James O.M. 'Jimmy' Roberts in the year 1956 and exposed to the world as the 'Sanctuary of Gods'. The Sanctuary has been christened as "Annapurna Sanctuary" ever since.
After a great and enjoyable time at Annapurna Base Camp and the sanctuary, a long walk downhill to lower areas as the morning leads to a descend to Deurali past Machhapuchare Base Camp, then with few short ups and down following a gradual winding trail back into green forested area to Bamboo for the overnight stay.
A nice and pleasant spot a temporary settlement with lodges to cater the needs of the trekkers located by the Modi River in a gorge within green bamboo and rhododendron forest.
From Bamboo a short steep climb up to Khuldi Ghar, then on winding downhill path into dense forest to Sinuwa-Danda, and then our walk descends to Chomrong khola. After crossing the bridge an uphill walk for less than an hour to reach at Chomrong village for short rest or lunch stop, after Chomrong a short up for half hour reaching at the top of Chomrong ridge, from here our route descends to Jhinu-Danda for overnight stay, this place offers refreshing hot springs just 20 minutes’ walk downhill near Modi river.
After a lovely stop at Jhinu enjoying refreshing hot-spring, morning leads to a long descends all the way to Modi Riveri, on crossing a long suspension bridge a nice walk into farm areas with short climb to a large village Landruk.
From here a few hours of gentle winding walks bring you at Tolka village with views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli.
Our last day walk of the adventure ends today at Dhampus village morning walks lead into cool shade of forest and then climb up to Deurali, a place on route Mardi Himal area offers grand views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna Himalaya.
From here on downhill into green forested areas past nice Potana village with gradual walk to reach at Dhampus village, located on a high ridge facing panorama of mountains.
At Dhampus where an hour drive brings you back at Pokhara by the Phewa Lake side after completing a grand adventure Annapurna base camp & Pun Hill trekking.
After a wonderful time in the high mountains and hills, taking a morning driving journey back to Kathmandu, on reaching Kathmandu after 5-6 hours of nice interesting drive, transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure or last day shopping souvenirs and handicrafts.(Options by air 30 minutes flight back to Kathmandu with great views)
Last day in Nepal in the country of high Himalayan mountains with fascinating culture, after a memorable time on Annapurna Base Camp & Pun Hill Trekking with amazing experience, as per your international flight time our staff transfers you to airport for the flight homeward bound or to your next port of call and respective countries.
