Trek Introduction
The Everest Base Camp journey is a dream trek for mountain lovers. The adventure begins with a scenic Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, known as the gateway to the Everest region.
The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful alpine forests filled with rhododendron, pine, and fir trees. Along the way, trekkers pass suspension bridges, mani walls, prayer flags, and traditional Sherpa settlements.
As the trek continues, you reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading center of the Khumbu region and an important acclimatization stop. From here, the route climbs higher toward Tengboche, home to the region’s most important monastery, surrounded by snow peaks.
Higher up, the landscape becomes more rugged and alpine as you approach Everest Base Camp. Here you stand surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and glaciers.
