Khayer Lake and Kopra Ridge Trekking is an adventure nestled between the massive 7th highest mountain, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and the 10th highest mountain, the Annapurna range, offering a remarkable walk through the hidden areas of the Annapurna Himalaya.
Khayer Lake & Kopra Ridge Trekking, where few trekkers and adventurer seldom venture around this tranquil wilderness away from mainstream trekking trails and villages in complete isolation in the harmony of mountains and dramatic views of unique landscapes.
Khayer Lake regarded as holy an icy pond fed from the glaciers of Vara Shikhar peaks or Annapurna Fang and Annapurna I and Annapurna South, where great religious festivals takes place once a year in the monsoon wet months of August as per Hindu calendar.

Starting from scenic and renown Pokhara where a short drive leads to trekking starting point and then leaving the low warm areas to cooler alpine temperatures heading due North West into several nice farm villages and enchanting forest of rhododendron and pines to reach at Ghorepani village.
Ghorepani is a beautiful and scenic spot where a walk leads to Poon Hill, offering stunning sunrise views over a range of Himalayan peaks. Our adventure then continues off the main trekking trail, taking us away from villages and human settlements towards the high Kopra Ridge.the high Kopra Ridge.
From Kopra entering into a holy Lake of Khayer with time to marvel marvelous surrounding Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains and then heading back on the main walking trails to reach at Pokhara via an alternative and short circuit past Ghandruk and Landruk villages.
